What is this month's theme?

Western culture has traditionally viewed parenting and the attachment relationship as beginning after birth. This month's theme supports how the Bonding/Attachment relationship of parenting begins preconception and lasts throughout the pregnancy, birth, and beyond. It is a dyadic, reciprocal relationship between the prenate and mother. It introduces an early parenting paradigm to honor the possibility of conscious conception and communication between them. The materials present results from many research studies and case reviews. It introduces the profound importance of healthy bonding between the prenate and mother, the birth experience, and the first year of life. Lectures include topics on prenatal bonding, attachment and learning. Past lecturers included Kate White, Myrna Martin, Christine McKee, Nina Ketscher, Michael Mendizza, and more.
