The Baby’s Experience of Birth and Tools for Healing

In this lecture an embryological template of what happens at birth (and before) will be described; physiologically, psychologically and emotionally.  Once aware of the sequence of embedded in birth... you will have a glimpse of how birth was “set up to work in case no one was there”. When interruptions occur in this sequence, a profound imprint is left that impacts how we live our life from here on out; it impacts how we are with others and ourselves. Since things often do not go as planned and it is impossible to have everything go perfectly during the prenatal, labor, birth, postpartum and the rest of our life, it is important to know when and how to make repair when things have gone awry and to integrate all experiences. This presentation will include “Simple Tools” for repair and integration when things do not go as planned. You will have a profound shift in how you see what is embedded in birth regardless of what your training, understanding or education is.
