An ethical container for pre- and perinatal psychology education is governed by several fields of practice: medicine, mental / behavioral health, childbirth and education. This module will help participants identify these elements and weave them together with principles unique to the primal period. We draw on the work of Kylea Taylor, and the Ethics of Caring. Her book is unique in that it addresses ethical considerations when working with regressive, or implicit, states. Our lectures always include an appearance by her, and others who have considerations around our relationship power, money, relationships, birth and education.
