What you will learn

During this self-paced mini-series you’ll learn and experience a creative new framework and language that details the process of how to support secure attachment in all relationships including ourself.

Our early attachment patterns are the most influential aspect of our physical, emotional, mental, social and spiritual lives. It is what builds the foundation of our nervous system.

Our attachment dynamics or (survival strategies) are imprinted and encoded in our body- based memories. By becoming aware of what did and often what did NOT happen is the beginning of the repatterning process.

The developmental shift into (l)earning secure selfhood or secure attachment comes from repatterning our early adaptive strategies and learning to yield into life. It is what allows us to fully embrace all of what life has to offer.

This course is an integration of Prenatal and Perinatal Psychology principles with attachment science and the Circle of Security™ work. No matter what our beginning looked like it is our birthright to feel welcomed, safe, connected, embodied and resilient.

Are you aware of how your early
attachment patterns are:

  • Impacting your relationships on a daily basis?
  • Supporting your greatest accomplishments?
  • Preventing you from expressing your full self?

Course Outline:

Class One: Exploring Your Relational Health
  • Learning and understanding how attachment dynamics influence our entire lives is crucial to fostering healthy relationships and emotional well-being.

  • We will explore the Map of Circle of Security as a model designed to support the development of secure attachment by helping individuals recognize and respond to their own and others' attachment needs. This understanding can transform how we connect with others, leading to more fulfilling and stable relationships.

  • We will be learning what it takes to become a safe haven and secure base for yourself and others. In this process of creating your own sanctuary and embracing the ability to receive care and support you can build a foundation of security and trust.

  • This type of personal growth not only enhances your own well-being but also strengthens your capacity to nurture and support those around you.

Class Two: Going Out in to the World
  • Supporting your fears around expressing yourself and exploring the world is a vital step in personal growth and emotional resilience. By acknowledging and addressing these fears, you create a safe space for deeper self-reflection and meaningful connections with others.

  • We will explore new ways of navigating the complexities of relationships and self-discovery.  Bringing your whole self into these experiences allows you to be more authentic and present, which is essential for fostering trust and understanding in both personal and interpersonal dynamics.

  • Understanding our core sensitivities—whether they are related to safety, separation, or esteem—is equally important in this journey.

Class Three: Where am I on the Circle of Security?
  • Exploring how we defend ourselves is a profound aspect of personal growth. Vulnerability often involves exposing our deepest fears and insecurities, which can feel uncomfortable or even threatening. However, by understanding the defenses we put up to protect ourselves, we can begin to dismantle the barriers that prevent authentic connections with ourselves and others.

  • Integrating our mothering and fathering aspects within ourselves is another crucial element in this journey. These archetypal energies represent the nurturing, caring side (mothering) and the protective, guiding side (fathering) that exist within all of us, regardless of gender. By balancing these energies, we can better understand and express our own needs, as well as respond to the needs of others.

  • Knowing and articulating our inner most needs is essential for building healthy boundaries and relationships, ensuring that our interactions are based on mutual respect and understanding. This integration empowers us to be both nurtured and strong, fostering a sense of wholeness and inner peace.

Class Four: Coming Home to Ourselves
  • Embracing the presence of "Being With" ourselves and others is essential for fostering deep connections and inner peace. When we cultivate this presence, we create a space where authentic communication and understanding can flourish, leading to more meaningful relationships and a greater sense of inner fulfillment.

  • Self-reflection plays a crucial role in this process, acting as a mirror that helps us see our lives more clearly. By reflecting on our experiences, thoughts, and emotions, we gain valuable insights into our behavior and patterns, allowing us to grow and evolve.

  • Trusting the divine timing of our lives is also key to this journey. The belief that "You are right on time" encourages us to let go of the need to control outcomes and instead trust that everything is unfolding as it should. This trust in divine timing brings a sense of peace and acceptance, helping us navigate life’s challenges with grace and confidence.
